Here is something basic about me.

    Qin Lei joined SMU as an Assistant Professor of Finance in June 2006, after receiving his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Michigan. Qin also holds a B.A. in International Economics from Renmin University of China, and a M.A. in Economics from Georgetown University. Qin previously worked at the International Monetary Fund and contributed to the efforts of identifying early warning signs for financial system instability. His current research interests are in the areas of asset pricing, market microstructure and investments.
